"Watching the
seasons change as a child in rural Connecticut created in me a
continuous love of nature. Adding to that early experience,
now that I divide my time between Arizona and Minnesota, the ever
changing landscape awes and inspires my world.
Springtime's
rainwater reflects new growth and delicate cactus flowers stir my
imagination. Summer brings gardens of
vibrant colors and textures to enjoy. I still love the smell of
new cut grass and churned earth.
Fall's changing colors, angles and contours excite my creativity.
Winter's shadows and varying moods create subtle changes that form
magical patterns in the snow. I am reminded of the slower pace
that winter provides and I find a stillness and peace as I use soft gray
tones with blues and violets. Nature at her best always inspires
me."
